Sunday to Sunday Invited to Participate at Lilly Annual Conference

As a recipient of a Lilly Endowment Compelling Preaching Grant, Sunday to Sunday Productions has been a standout as the producer of the CALLED program that encourages all Catholics, priests, nuns, deacons, ministers and laity to develop an attentive heart and use it to find the preaching moments in our daily lives. This unique approach to preaching has led to a special invitation to participate at the Lilly Endowment Compelling Preaching Annual Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 24, 2025.

Members of the Sunday to Sunday Productions and CALLED team will be in attendance and participate in The Laity’s Surprising Interest in Preaching Resources where participants will discuss what are grant teams learning about training lay leaders? What resources appeal to the laity? Why are these audiences so engaged—sometimes even more than clergy? And how are grantees adapting their programs in response to the interest of lay leaders? As a grantee focused on these audiences its an honor to be involved in this important discussion as a leader and participant.

The discussion will be facilitated by Calvin Institute consultant, Fr. Anthony Ruff.  These important panels will be an opportunity for Sunday to Sunday Productions to share what we’ve learned and our expertise—our successes and challenges. Historically these panels frequently served to jumpstart a larger conversation among all the grantees in the session, with insights coming from the "audience" as well as the panelists.

In future editions of the newsletter we will recap the event, but in the meantime everyone in the Sunday to Sunday Productions family should celebrate and be thanked for your tireless support, vision and dedication to the vision.
